How to install WoW in 6 hours

wow_logo.jpgFound an old dusty box with a copy of World of Warcraft in it. Figured I’d give it a twirl since I bought it a few years ago, and never got around to actually install it. With my new iMac 24″, I figured it’d be a great gaming experience. So I started the 4 disc installation about 5 hours ago. Everything went fine, I registered my account and the update screen pops up. Nothing unusual, nothing uncommon. Figured they might have some updates after a couple of years – Guess I was dead on.

Right now I am looking at the third download screen of a file that’s over 800 Mb big. The first one was annoying, the second one pissed me off and now the third one…lets just say I love my iMac too much to start throwing stuff at it. Why can’t Blizzard just make on big download and have us get it over with? I have a bad feeling that the third one isn’t the last update either…
