16. You have eight balls all of the same size. 7 of them weigh the same, and one of them weighs slightly more. How can you find the ball that is heavier by using a balance and only two weighings?

Put 3+3 balls on the balance.
- It if is even, weigh the 2 remaining balls to find the heaviest.
- If it is not keep the heaviest 3 balls and weigh 2 of them.
- If it is not even, you now know the heaviest.
- If it is even, the remaining ball of the 3 is the heaviest.

A database is like a cookie jar where you keep all your cookies. Sometimes you need to take out a cookie and eat it, or add more cookies, or count the cookies up. But you always know you're gonna find everything right where you left it, in that jar.
